Yesterday was a pretty busy day. My day started at seven and it didn’t end until 12:00 midnight when I finally went to bed. So, at 2 1/2 I was hearing impaired my hearing slowing was dropping and three months ago we were told I’d have to have cochlear implant. Yesterday I finally got the surgery and it was pretty quick once they gave me the antastia medicine to put me to sleep. As I was going into surgery I was nervous as all heck I was so scared but, than I woke up and was sent home two hours later. The cochlear part is something they put in my brain and the processor that they’ll do on the 12th of next month is the part that is a magnet it will be connected on top of my head. It will help me hear better. The first picture is when I arrived yesterday morning and the last two are when I was leaving last night. Getting the cochlear implant isn’t as scary as you think. #stvincentmedicalcenter #cochlearimplantsugery#hearingimpaired
